PPC Bully Review

by Christopher on November 13, 2008

PPC Bully is not an eBook on PPC. It’s actually an online software application that you login to, which allows you to spy on your Google AdWords competitors to find out their profitable PPC campaigns. Once you’ve seen your competitor’s profitable ads, you can easily replicate the same processes that these super affiliates use to make big profits over and over again.

So why spy on your competitors’ ads, you may ask? The logic is this: Any PPC ad that remains online for long enough, is LIKELY to be profitable. Note that it is only LIKELY, not guaranteed. Why? Generally speaking, PPC advertisers don’t like to lose money. So they will usually keep an ad up only as long as it is profitable. They will take down ads that are not profitable, unless their accounts are too large or they’re just not tracking their spending closely enough.

When you login to PPC Bully, you will create a project, and then add keywords for PPC Bully to scan the PPC search engines (currently Google AdWords, more to come) for current ads that are running for your chosen keywords. It then monitors those ads over time to see how long they’ve been running to determine the likelihood of their profitability. This is called the “Profitability Indicator” (abbreviated as PI), and is expressed by the following formula:

PI = (number of days seen * percentage seen) / (number of days since last seen)

Besides the PI, PPC Bully also gives you all the ad variations your competitors are running, actual links to their websites, the affiliate network they’re using (if PPC Bully identifies them as an affiliate and not a publisher), their current ad position and a whole lot more. PPC Bully works across multiple affiliate networks, such as Amazon, Commission Junction, ClickBank, PayDotCom, and even all the major CPA networks, etc.

Best of all, PPC Bully is also a fully hosted solution, meaning you do not need to install any messy scripts on your PC, just login online from anywhere to access your PPC Bully account.

To summarize, you get to see the keywords that are likely converting into sales for your competitors, the style of ads that converts best for the market or niche you’re in, as well as the exact websites your competitors are using. It’s basically market research paid for by your competitors using this tool.
